The Curriculum Compendium

Using real-world examples, The Curriculum Compendium examines how schools have successfully designed their curriculums to meet the needs of their pupils. For the GEC it’s so important that schools consider equality and inclusion alongside curriculum design. After all, how can we consider a curriculum to be fit for purpose if it doesn’t meet the needs of EVERY pupil?

Which is why we are so excited that our very own Nic Ponsford has written a chapter for the book. Nic’s chapter “Intentional Inclusion = Conscious Curriculums” highlights how curriculums lay out a blue print for teaching and learning in school, shaping learners sense of self and society as a whole. For our classrooms to be truly inclusive, intentional inclusion in our curriculums is key.
